High School Milestone day

It was the 121st celebration of high school day. After two years of delay, it is finally back. The school has overcome all the obstacles that COVID-19 created and finally resumed its events. Although I didn't attend the event, I do know the layout of the event. Let me walk you through the layout of the events.

There are 3 main parts to this event: the first part, Church services, followed by a 1-hour break, then the second part, the main part of the event. This is where they introduce the guest speaker and award teachers and such. Also in this part, the top 3 winners of the G10 hip-hop dance competition will perform an intervention. After this is a lunch break, which is followed by the last and third part of the event, the field demo. This is the part where students dance in the field. G7, G8, with their respective grade dances, and G10 students who will perform ‘Galaw Pilipinas’ (7 representatives per section). This is also the part where teachers play traditional Filipino games. This part and subsequently the whole event ends at around 4:30 p.m.

Overall, it was an important event that made things that seemed impossible come true. The pandemic has halted all events for the school year for the past two or three years. The school has overcome this huge obstacle and held its first high school day after the pandemic. A massive win for the school. We should celebrate this massive achievement.
