Cherish Mother Nature

ICT 10: Thematic Output Participating in Cleaning and Cherishing Mother Nature.  Picking up trash one at a time. We must make cleaning the Earth the first priority. Don't just say you love nature; demonstrate it. We rely on the Environment to survive, so why destroy it? We must change our ways before climate change makes that change impossible to achieve.

Cogitate

And just like that, a quarter of the school year passed by. All the pressures and delights of school felt as if they had happened just yesterday. Those first morning jitters on the first day of school, are kind of nostalgic. This quarter certainly taught me to be more dedicated to my studies. Certain self-notes stand out. My awful work ethic was the first thing I noticed. I continued putting things off, frequently finishing my schoolwork and preparing for quizzes just hours before the deadline. I often receive below-average grades on my quizzes as a result. An excellent illustration of this is my first quiz in ICT, on which I scored a negative because I forgot what the term ICT stood for. Even if I had gotten that one item, my grade wouldn't have been particularly high. The second thing I noticed was how awkward I am in social situations. Who would've thought that two years of quarantine would have affected that... My HORRENDOUS, and I mean HORRENDOUS, time management was the l...

Igniting Interest

Image
Dear Ma'am Evelyn Vera Cruz,       I would like to begin this letter by greeting you with a happy teachers' day,       Thank you for further igniting my interest in Information, Communication, Technology. I am very grateful for your guidance in creating blogs and furthering our knowledge about internet history and technology. I have learned many interesting topics about how the internet works, its history, and how to use the internet more efficiently. I will always carry your teachings and wisdom. Though we may be rowdy students, I hope you won't get tired of handling us, ma'am. Thank you for being our teacher ma'am!                                                                                   ...

Dear President Ferdinand Romualdes Marcos Jr.,       Greetings. Let me first introduce myself, I'm Tyron Jay Herrea, an ISNHS student. I first want to congratulate you on your recent election, though this may be a few months late... Moving on, I have plenty of questions about your plans for the Philippines and how you may improve our country from our current miserable state.      First, how will you develop the poor socio-economic status of the Philippines? I would love to hear about it. Second, how do you feel about the previous president's efforts to eradicate illegal drug use? will you continue his efforts or will you create your own solution? and Third, how do you feel about same sex marriages and lgbtqia+ talks in general? Do oppose, agree, or are you indifferent on the subject?         I wish you the best of luck during your presidential term. I hope you make the citizens of this country proud and you make this coun...

Procrastination Enthusiast

Image
Hello, welcome to my blog. I'm an average student. I, of course, procrastinated on this blog last minute. We all have something that best describes us, maybe being obsessive... Anyways. I would say the best thing to describe me would be a procrastinator. I procrastinate important things due to the fear of starting them. This ruined my productivity and sleep schedule. I often run away from opening GCs in certain subjects due to the fear of certain deadlines. This in turn leads me to do everything the night after a deadline or even the night after the extension of a deadline. This was a major problem when we were confined to our homes during distance learning since I could just mute GCs that remind me of the deadlines and just forget about them. I'm getting over this habit of mine, f2f helps in this because I can't run away from deadlines anymore since it's face-to-face. Or is it just my anxiety... In Conclusion, I should get rid of this horrible trait of mine. It doesn...

Coping with Covid

Image
So we all are familiar with covid-19 by now right? The one that caused the dreaded quarantine, the one that shut down the world. What a funny-scary experience am I right?  Like, imagine one day everything got suspended for what they said was a week which turned into 2 then suddenly a year! It was such a surreal experience for every one of us. I’m sure we all had a couple of weird experiences and ways of coping with Covid-19, the following are mine! When the pandemic first started I thought it was going to end when the next school year was coming along, so I wasn’t really worried and treated it like any other school break…. It didn’t stop and we got modular learning... Modular learning wasn’t all that an issue for me at the start to be honest, well until I go to Week 5-6 when they introduced the projects with tight deadlines. I got so stressed when I got tasked to complete 3 projects in 2 weeks along with the weekly homework, it was a nightmare for me. I still remember this partic...
