Contemplation of the Past

New topics taught to me, different perspectives I've been exposed to, new ways of learning I've never dabbled in before, new projects to have fun with... Can you believe that 3 months have already passed? Can you believe we're already entering the last quarter of this school year? It feels as if it was just yesterday that I first entered this school, time really does fly by so fast. As I reflect upon these past few months, I am filled with gratitude for the invaluable experiences and personal development that have unfolded along this humble journey of mine. It has been 3 fulfilling and grueling months and I still haven't improved my bad habits all that much. Even though this was the case I have improved some of my strengths. Thanks to the CBR web design project Ma'am gave us, I have improved my CSS skills and problem-solving skills. It was fun learning about new ways and improved ways to manipulate the canvas called a webpage with 2 markup languages, HTML and CSS, a...

As another quarter draw to a close, good and bad memories come to mind. A whole lot happened to me. Plenty of good and bad, extracurriculars clashed with my schedule. It taught me plenty of valuable lessons that I will hopefully improve going into the...

Those first morning jitters on the first day of school, are kind of nostalgic. This quarter certainly taught me to be more dedicated to my studies. Certain self-notes stand out. My awful work ethic was the first thing I noticed. I continued putting things off, frequently finishing my schoolwork and preparing for quizzes just hours before the deadline. I often receive below-average grades on my quizzes as a result. An excellent illustration of this is my first quiz in ICT, on which I scored a negative because I forgot what the term ICT stood for. Even if I had gotten that one item, my grade wouldn't have been particularly high. The second thing I noticed was how awkward I am in social situations. Who would've thought that two years of quarantine would have affected that... My HORRENDOUS, and I mean HORRENDOUS, time management was the l...
