Cultural Richness of Vigan City

Image
Vigan City boasts a long and illustrious history, with a wealth of cultural heritage. Annually, the city holds various festivals, with the Vigan City Fiesta being one (1) of the four (4) major festivals of Vigan City. The festival this year aims to highlight the city's distinct cultural background and educate the public about its rich history. Education night is one of its events and will be my blog's topic today. I hope you enjoy my blogging!  I got there around 7:50, meet up with friends, and went to the event. The Event started at around 8-8:20 pm. The Event kickstarted off with an Opening speech and after this, The Teachers' performances.    After these, the Teacher's got talent. After these are the awarding; the first to be awarded are the best Elementary, Secondary, and Tertiary schools. Next are awarding of teachers and awards of appreciation to the judges of the competition and finally, last but not the least, the Teachers got Talent awarding (Secondary-Tertiar...

Rumination

As another quarter draw to a close, good and bad memories come to mind. A whole lot happened to me. Plenty of good and bad, extracurriculars clashed with my schedule. This quarter certainly forced me to swallow hard-to-swallow pills. I have plenty to share. I had a difficult time balancing my extracurricular activities with my academics this quarter. Unfortunately, my poor quiz and test marks were a result of my bad time management. I want to get better at managing my time and work on this area. I also want to lessen my propensity to put things off. On the positive side, I love ICT’s recent topics. My curiosity in coding was reignited by this, and I was motivated to build a website, albeit a bad one. I even got the chance to experiment with operating systems, such as dual booting Arch Linux and Windows 11. Overall a great quarter. It was filled with fun memories and a lot of not-so-pleasant ones. It taught me plenty of valuable lessons that I will hopefully improve going into the...

New Year, New Me

Image
Happy New Year Everyone! As we all start off the new year, many of us are thinking about the changes we want to make in our lives. This is a great opportunity to think about the areas of our lives where we want to make a positive change. Whether this is in our professional lives, in our relationships, or in our physical or mental health, now is the perfect time to take on new challenges and put ourselves out of our comfort zone. Let us better ourselves, one step at a time. This year, I’ve noticed that I’ve been a lot lazier. I haven’t been finishing my task on time, usually procrastinating until the due date of a particular assignment. This really hindered my efficiency and overall incorporated unnecessary stress in my life. This may be because of my terrible schedule management, so for this year I’ve been thinking of researching more about managing my schedule better so that I could maybe reduce that stress. Another aspect I’m not satisfied with is my health in general. I wish to impr...

New Environment for Celebrating Christmas

Image
Every year at this time, families get together to enjoy Christmas. However, this Christmas will be a little bit different for certain people. Due to the epidemic, they will spend Christmas in quarantine, separated from their loved ones. For them, this may be a very trying and lonesome period. It's important that we, as members of the community, support them during this time. The holidays can be emotionally taxing when you aren’t present. In these situations, it’s important to remind family members that they are not alone.By getting in touch with them over the phone or video-chat, giving them encouraging notes, and simply spending time with them, you can assist them in coping. Spreading cheer to folks in the neighborhood who are having a difficult time this holiday season is another thing you can do. This can help them feel happier and more upbeat throughout this trying period. Don't forget to look after yourself as well! You'll be able to stand strong for the ones you love ...

Journey around the fair

Welcome to EstudyaNTREPRENEUR 2022! This features all kinds of booths related to Technology and Livelihood Education. From Dress-making to Gardening to food to old technological devices.    Technology was something I've been interested in my whole life, so when I saw them displaying old technological advancements, I had to go. I also had a lot of fun in the massage booth, it was hilarious seeing my classmates' faces after getting massages. This bazaar was incredible fun. I enjoyed most of the booths I visited, but the previous 2 were definitely my favorite.  I learned a lot about how important entrepreneurship is, extracting economical value from your product or services is an extremely important skill in society. Training this will significantly help the students in their adult life. The one thing I want to focus on is creating economical advantages from your services and product, so keeping this in mind, I can apply this concept I learned by valuing my time and my skill...

Nurturing the Future Generation

Image
Happy children’s month! It’s the month we celebrate the future of this country. The people who will one day run our country. So it’s important to nurture them and help them with whatever they’re struggling with. This is why we have children’s day.   In my opinion, it is great to appreciate and celebrate the generation of our future. Children are the building blocks of our future. Nurturing them and their talents and interest will help humanity further progress. It’s great we exercise the rights of our children and protect them from lifelong traumas. Society these days is dark and bleak, so it’s even more important to protect them from heinous acts that will make them lose their hope in society. We need inclusion for children. We should not let them be alone, we should always make them feel welcome.   In conclusion, National Children's month is a great month-long celebration. It Includes and protects the children. It doesn’t make any child feel lonely or lef...
